Rowena selected for U19 county lacrosse
Sixth Former Rowena Sharp has been selected for the Under 19 Hertfordshire county team recently, after a two-round selection process. Three other Haileybury players, Vicky Allner, Emma Clark and Alana Zukas, were selected at the country trials, but Rowena was the sole player to move on through the second round. Vicky Allner was awarded team MVP at the trials.
Rowena is now a member of the Under 19 county squad and has played at various tournaments in the southeast.
Middles pupil Chloe Allen was selected for the Under 15 county team, and plays the Center position for the Hertfordshire squad. Chloe was named team MVP at the county trials, and has played a significant role on both offence and defence for the county team.
Other players from Haileybury who were selected at the trials were Sophie Hamshere, Charlotte Kennedy and Emily Nabnian.
Congratulations to all the girls!
