PE teacher Annie wins another sport award
Congratulations to Haileybury PE teacher Annie Thomas, who last night won the Service to Sport Award at the Active Broxbourne Annual Sports Awards held at Herts Regional College.
She was nominated by the Broxbourne Hockey Club, with whom she is closely associated.
Mark Neville, the Chair of Active Broxbourne, said: "It makes me feel especially proud that I met Annie seven years ago at the Herts Youth Games and that she has always been someone I look up to in the world of sport. She is always smiling and her dedication, drive, enthusiasm and inspiration is something I greatly admire."
Well done on yet another award, Annie.
Annie is also aiming to raise £30,000 for Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City this year in honour of its 30th anniversary and has already made £1,500 in less than a month. If you would like to sponsor Annie, please text ANNI60 to 70070 and choose an amount or visit www.justgiving.com/Annie-Thomas60
