More Academic Success This Summer
Just over six weeks after Haileyburians attained the College’s best IB Diploma results averaging over 39 points (compared to 36 last year) our A Level pupils are now celebrating excellent results too. The overall picture means over half of this year’s results are A*-A; a fantastic achievement.
Haileybury’s Upper Sixth have secured a combined pass rate of 80% A*-B enabling them to go on to competitive and prestigious university courses across the UK and around the world. Seven Haileyburians will be taking up places at Oxford or Cambridge to read a variety of courses from Economics to Medicine. Eight high-flying pupils secured 2A*s or more at A Level and join the 18 IB Diploma graduates who secured 40 or more points in July.
Master Joe Davies commented: "I am delighted for the pupils, their families and Haileybury’s staff who have all worked so hard and who should feel very proud of these achievements. I congratulate them all. These excellent A Level results follow on from some truly outstanding IB Diploma results achieved last month, and once again prove that academic excellence can be achieved alongside sustained co-curricular engagement. We wish all our pupils success and happiness at university and beyond."
