Journalist Quentin Letts is guest of honour at 1806 Club
Parliamentary sketch writer and theatre critic for the Daily Mail, Quentin Letts (OH), will be the guest of honour at a breakfast meeting of the Haileybury 1806 Club on Thursday, 2 December 2010.
Mr Letts, who attended Haileybury in the late 1970s, will be talking about his experiences within Parliament. He will also be signing copies of his latest book, Letts RIP!, in which he gives his view of the last decade of British politics. From the height of Blairism to Brown’s demise, Letts was witness to all the goings-on from his front-row seat in the Commons gallery.
The aim of the 1806 Club is to encourage networking between local business executives and key school partners, and to foster a long-term interest in Haileybury.
The event starts at 8am start in Big School at Haileybury. To book your place at this event and to find out more about the 1806 Club, please contact Stephanie Humphreys at Haileybury on 01992 706355.
