Haileybury pupil chosen for ISFA squad
Upper Sixth pupil, Abdul Wushishi (K), has become the first Haileyburian to be selected for the England Under 18 Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) squad. He was selected from over 100 boys who attended the country-wide trials in November.
Eighteen-year-old Abdul, who is a striker, has been playing football all his life, developing a love for the game when he started playing with his brothers in his home country of Nigeria.
He has already played two games for the squad, scoring two goals in the first game. He hopes to continue playing when he attends Imperial College or UCL where he will study Chemical Engineering from September 2008.
