Hailey House raises over £600 for Bobath Centre
Hailey House has raised over £600 for charity with the help of some four-legged friends.
The Hailey dog show, organised by Housemistress Mrs Alison Baker in April, along with lots of hard work by the Hailey girls, attracted 42 dogs and their owners as well as plenty of parents, families, staff and pupils.
Competitions included an agility course, fastest eater, most tricks, waggiest tail, best veteran, and best young pup. Overall winner and best in show was Simba, a 4year-old South-African Boerbul owned by Leah and Tessa Rosendahl.
The sale of cakes, candy floss and hotdogs helped the final fundraising total, which will be donated to one of this year’s chosen school charities, the Bobath Centre.
Mrs Baker said, "Thank you to all those who came and attended the event, thank you to Mr Wilson for providing an excellent running commentary (as the master in charge) and to the Hailey girls for working so hard to put it all together."
