Professor Sir Mike Stratton

Professor Sir Mike Stratton, FMedSci FRS

Sir Mike is Director of the world leading Wellcome Sanger Institute and Chief Executive Officer of the Wellcome Genome Campus. Mike Stratton is distinguished for his contributions to the genetics of human cancer. His work has important implications for the understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying cancer, diagnosis and therapy. He currently heads the Cancer Genome Project and is a leader of the International Cancer Genome Consortium.
