Elizabeth wins MVP award

Elizabeth Edgley (Aby) was named Most Valuable Player for Haileybury at the Under 15 Herts Indoor County lacrosse tournament, which took place last Friday. She won the award for her outstanding attacking drives and goals as well as for solid defensive play throughout the evening.

The team played extremely well and produced some excellent scores, winning three matches and losing three overall.

Results included:

Abbots Hill – won 5 – 4

St Margaret’s Bushey – won 5 – 0

Haberdashers, Elstree – won 5- 3

St George’s Harpenden – lost 0 -6

St Albans High School – lost 1 – 3

Berkhamsted – lost 4 – 1

This Friday Haileybury will host the Senior Indoor tournament.
