Choir & Choral Society Concert, 27 March

Join Haileybury’s musicians as they present a major programme of choral and orchestral works . With pupil soloists in Schubert’s Mass in G major, we are also delighted to present pupils taking major solo roles in works by Vaughan Williams and J.S. Bach.

Leah Rosendahl tackles Vaughan Williams’s wistful evocation of the English countryside in The Lark Ascending, while William O’Brien makes his major solo début in Bach’s achingly poignant cantata, Ich habe genug. At the start of the concert, concert pianist, Christopher Weston, joins us to perform Ravel’s infectious, jazz-infused Piano Concerto in G.
