Haileybury choirs and orchestras will perform at a special concert in St John’s, Smiths Square, London on 15 February. With Quentin Thomas as director, SF8 and The National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain will also perform – all in aid of the Haileybury Attlee Fund.
The programme will include:
Ravel arr. Nigel Wood Bolero

Orff O Fortuna Carmina Burana
And the composers Chopin, Burton, Stravinsky, Bacherach, Miles Davis.
This promises to be an extraordinary concert for an essential cause in Haileybury’s future. Chamber Choir, Chapel Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Wind Band, and soloists will all combine with our Artists in Residence – SF8 – AND the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain to offer a feast of diverse music that encompasses the classics and the most loved pieces of music, in one of the most idyllic concert halls in London.
If you play an instrument, bring it along for the chance to join forces in the Bolero. If you are connected to a Prep or Primary School and would like to be involved, do get in touch with us on 01992-706264.
