Careers & Gap Year Fair, 26 March, 7.30pm
Haileybury Careers & Gap Year Fair
Tuesday 26 March, Sports Hall, 7.30pm-9pm
Our Fifth and Sixth Form pupils will be attending a Careers Fair on Tuesday evening, hosted by the Haileybury Society with the generous participation of around 40 Old Haileyburians. Our OHs represent a wide range of career choices, from medicine to law and retail, and will be on hand to talk to current Haileyburians.
In addition, 25 Gap Year providers will be attending the Fair, offering advice about the numerous activities pupils might undertake during a gap year. The world really is your oyster if considering a gap year and the Fair will include companies who offer foreign language learning, cookery schools, working with wildlife and teaching in the Third World.

- What will a Gap Year cost?
- What support can you expect from your Gap Year organisation?
- What are the risks involved?
- What are the benefits you can expect to draw from a Gap Year?
Ms Quick will also discuss the work of Projects Abroad. Any Sixth Form pupils considering taking a Gap Year are encouraged to attend.
