Cancer Awareness Week
Haileybury are staging a Cancer Awareness Week from Monday 15th April action-packed with activities. The general public, students, parents and friends are warmly invited to join in with what promises to be a very informative as well as entertaining week. The aim of the week is to raise cancer awareness throughout the school and local area at the same time as generating donations towards charitable funds. The school will be raising funds to support two major cancer charities – Cancer Research UK and The Orchid Cancer Appeal. The Charities Committee has organised a full and varied programme of events for the week including guest speakers, sporting events – a world class rackets exhibition match, the English Ladies Rugby Team v Haileybury 1st XV and a Lads and Dads Golf Tournament. There are also a wide variety of recreational events organised.
