An evening with antiques expert Eric Knowles, 3 February, 7.30 pm

Eric Knowles is a well-known face in the world of antiques, particularly to viewers of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Knowles is a leading authority in European and Oriental ceramics from the 17th to the 20th Century, the glass of Tiffany and Lalique, and 19th and 20th Century decorative arts.

As well as regular appearances on television and on radio, Knowles has written books on Victoriana, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Royal Memorabilia and is a frequent contributor to the BBC Homes and Antiques magazine. He has lectured extensively in the UK, USA and Canada and is guest lecturer at both the University of Central Lancashire and Solent University, Southampton.
