Alec Stewart becomes patron of Haileybury cricket
Alec Stewart OBE, who played 133 tests for England after his debut against the West Indies in 1990, has kindly agreed to be Patron of Haileybury Cricket.
The former England player, who scored 15 test centuries including a highest of 190 against Pakistan, was renowned for his fitness, competitive but fair spirit and has always been considered one of the great ambassadors for the game.
Haileybury is extremely pleased to have him associated with its cricket development.
