Sports Scholarships
Sport has always played a central role in School life with many of our alumni going on to play at regional and national level.
Sport Scholarships recognise candidates who exhibit skills in a given sport and strong leadership potential.
Scholars are expected to be active and positive contributors to the School’s sporting life throughout the year, setting an impeccable example on and off the field of play.
They will be supported by world-class sports coaches, including Michael Owen who played rugby for Wales and the British and Irish Lions.
We award scholarships in hockey, netball, lacrosse, swimming, rugby, cricket and football.
At 11+, attitude, athletic ability and raw talent are the key factors in selecting a sports scholar.
At 13+, a scholar demonstrates excellence in performance, a high level of promise, and potential for leadership.
At 16+, we would expect to see evidence of top-level competition, leaderships skills and a first class attitude to sport.
More information on how to apply for scholarships can be found on our publication and policies page.
