Temporary – Maternity cover; Full time; Term time

Haileybury is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama.

The successful candidate will teach years 7-13, including GCSE, and A level. The position would suit either an experienced teacher or someone new to the teaching profession. Experience delivering A level would be preferred.

Candidates will be expected to embrace the busy life of the drama department, and wider life of the school. The successful candidate will be required to run a drama club or co-curricular activity, to direct a co-curricular production (the lower school show) and to teach a full timetable.

In summer, the candidate will be expected to participate in Arts Week and contribute to the creative output, including directing abridged Shakespeare scenes with year 9 pupils. The summer term will also feature the preparation of GCSE and A level devised exam pieces.
