Girls Hockey Holland Tour
At the end of the summer holidays, the 1st XI and the U14s hockey teams travelled to Holland for an incredibly successful tour.
The teams played three matches each at famous clubs, such as HC Oranje-Rood and HC Pinoke, agreed on their tactics and themes for the year and won five out of the six games! The players also enjoyed three hockey sessions with local professional coaches and an agility session.
Between games and training, the girls spent a fun-filled afternoon at the Efteling Theme Park and an evening bowling.
This year, there were fifteen new starters to the School on the tour, which was a fantastic opportunity to integrate the incoming girls into the very welcoming Haileybury hockey club.
The tour should put the teams in a great position to start the year with a bang and we look forward to watching them play!
