Choral Day hit the high notes
Haileybury welcomed 55 talented young choristers to the College for its first-ever Prep and Primary School Choral Day earlier this month.
The choristers came from a variety of schools, including Stormont School, Howe Green House School and Davenies.
The agenda for the day was packed full of diversity and fun with the aim of learning something new and gaining performance experience.
The morning started with a fantastic body and posture Pilates session and a vocal warm up.
Then in groups the pupils practiced a variety of pieces, including: Every Time I Feel the Spirit, Lead Me, O Lord, A Clare Benediction, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Tuuti, Tuuti, Cer-volant and Bring Him Home.
After a tasty lunch in the Dining Hall there was the option to either play the Djembe drum and steel pans, or try out the Klais organ in our Chapel.
To finish the day in style, the pupils performed their pieces for their families in a beautiful concert in Chapel.
A big well done to everyone who took part.
