Haileybury Festival of Art
Haileybury was delighted to accept the work of many preparatory school pupils and to provide a venue for the display of adults’ works of art from which the Isobel Hospice, we hope, will benefit substantially. Stuart Westley, The Master
Haileybury held its first Festival of Art, last weekend – 16th and 17th November in aid of the Isobel Hospice locally. The Haileybury Prep School Art Competition made up part of the exhibition and winners were awarded their prizes at the Private View by Ronald Maddox PRI Hon. RWS who was supporting the Festival. The winners were:

1st Isabelle Glencross from Heath Mount School
2nd James Butcher from Hill House School in London
3rd Emiel Khakhar from St. John’s School, Northwood
Yrs 4-5
1st Christiana Bourne from St Aubyns School, Woodford Green
2nd + Jody Dale from St. Josephs in the Park School, Hertingfordbury
2nd = Rhiannon Ludlow from St. Jospehs in the Park School, Hertingfordbury
3rd William Courtney from Heath Mount, Watton at Stone

1st Phyllis Jones from Heath Mount
2nd Bethany Taylor from Haileybury Lower School
3rd Lauren Hewitt from Haileybury Lower School
The overall winner was Isabelle Glencross from Heath Mount School and the People’s Choice, voted by visitors over the weekend, went to Adam Dale from St. Josephs in the Park.

The main exhibition displayed over 500 works of art including paintings, sculptures and ceramics from artists and art societies across London and the South East. £2,500 (Approx) was raised over the weekend in aid of the Isobel Hospice.
