Kathryn Goldby gains AMusTCL diploma
Kathryn Goldby has become the first Haileybury student to sit and pass the AMusTCL diploma.
The exam was administered by Trinity College of Music in London.
She had previously taken A Level music a year early, gaining exceptionally high marks in achieving her A grade. This diploma, pitched at first-year university level, was awarded on the basis of a three-hour academic exam which tests analytical and historical knowledge and skills in harmony and orchestration. Kathryn was taught by director of music Peter Davis and Derek Longman.
She is particularly delighted to have letters after her name!
