Success for 1st IV at Twickenham Regatta
Haileybury’s 1st IV (Tim Condon, Tom Haslam, James Symes and Tom Hardman, cox: Olly Kent) rowed superbly last Saturday to win the Men’s Novice Coxed Fours at the Twickenham Regatta.
With a 12-crew entry, the knockout format meant that they had to race (and win) four times. First Putney Town, then Eastbourne College, Brunel University and finally Kingston rowing clubs were duly shown Haileybury rowing’s class.
The last two races were particularly hard fought and the boys truly deserved their tankards. Well done!
