Autumn Concert takes
The annual Autumn Concert will take place in Big School next Wednesday, 18 October at 4.30pm.
On a theme of ‘flight’, pupils will showcase everything from film themes of Raiders, Hook and Dambusters to the refined worlds of opera with Rossini’s Overture and Thieving Magpie. There are also Choral treasures from an African tribal wedding song, the dulcet harmonies offered by the Chamber Choir singing such things as Fly me to the Moon and Moonriver, which will be played out to the rhythms of the Jazz Band.
Quentin Thomas, Derek Longman and Rebecca Goldsworthy will conduct the Symphony Orchestra, the Senior Wind Band, the Jazz Band, Chapel Choir, Chamber Choir and the Lower School Choir in this hour-long concert.
Tickets are required and can be obtained from the Haileybury Box Office on 10992 706205.
