Haileybury wins national safety award
Haileybury has won The British Safety Award for Health and Safety for the third consecutive year. The award, which is issued by the British Safety Council, recognises the success that Haileybury and its employees have achieved in their pursuit of excellence in the management of health, safety and environmental matters at an international level.
Peter Bailey, Domestic Bursar, says applicants are required to submit a completed information form providing a number of key documents relating to health and safety as well as details of significant health and safety advances at Haileybury for the qualifying year.
The award is also acknowledged by the Health and Safety Executive as a powerful motivator for achieving high safety standards.
The award will be presented at the 51st banquet to be held on Friday, 15 May at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
