Caleb and Sam score centuries
Over the past two weeks, Haileybury’s 1st XI have played some outstanding cricket.
In a time game against Uppingham, the visitors scored 253-9 from 61 overs and, in reply, we reached 250-5 from our 55 overs. There was an outstanding run chase that resulted in a winning draw for our boys.
Against King’s Canterbury in a 50-over aside match, Haileybury won the toss and, in glorious batting conditions, scored a mammoth total of 291-2, with Caleb Stewart scoring 109 not out and Captain Sam Anthony scoring 104 not out.
In reply, King’s were bowled out for 141.
Congratulations to all the players.
