Eight girls chosen for ISFA U18 team
Eight Haileybury girls have been selected for the ISFA Heart of England Under 18 girls’ football team, after all eight trialled last Sunday. They will represent the region in a national tournament in March at Marlborough College.
The trials were held at John Lyon School. The outfield players were put through their paces by Chris Voice whilst the goalkeepers had a session with specialist coach, Rob Potter. By the end of the session, the girls had learned to work as a unit as well as learning various attacking and defensive strategies.
Those chosen from Haileybury are:
Lizzie Dunning, Leanna Jones, Gabreilla Richardson, Nina Klausen, Olivia Wacker, Clarissa Heck, Anella Vokes and Natalie Peacock.
