England Success for Chloe

Chloe Allen (L6, C) has been selected for the U19 England Lacrosse Squad. Chloe attended the open trials in September with over 200 girls wanting a chance to represent their country. Over the three days Chloe had to reach fitness demands of playing at international level, working hard in intensive drill sessions and also playing in many trial games.

The trials were the first step towards the introduction of the ELA’s new talent development system. The selected squad will train together throughout this season and a squad of 18 will be selected to play Princeton University on 3rd November.

This is fantastic news for Chloe and a great opportunity as she is still young in her lacrosse career. She is also about to trial for the U19 Hertfordshire County team in a few weeks’ time with some fellow Haileybury team mates. We wish Chloe all the best with her selection and all her further England fixtures and training.
