LS Walkers Have Fun Fundraising
All the pupils in Lower School 1 and 2 walked (or ran) laps of Twenty Acre on Friday to raise money for Haileybury Youth Trust (HYT). Fancy dress was the order of the day, with an 'international' theme, and there were some wonderfully imaginative outfits on show. The weather was relatively kind and no one was lost in the descending mist as the afternoon drew on. Each lap was around one mile and most boys and girls managed a super six or seven laps – some hardy souls achieved 10 laps in an hour and a quarter!
Head of Lower School, Dr Laura Pugsley, believes Lower School are on course to raise over £4,000 for HYT. To support their efforts (and to beat last year's total of £4,887) please send your sponsorship money in now!
