Patrick joins Herts Men's County Tennis team

Congratulations to Haileyburian Patrick Cathcart (Vth, B) who has been invited to join the Hertfordshire Men’s County Tennis team, quite an achievement at his age.

Over the past eight years the Herts County team have won the national Group 1 Summer County Cup five times and have won the national Group 1 Winter Cup six years running.

Jeff Wayne, County Captain for 23 years, commented: "Over the years I’ve seen many tennis players and certainly the finest that Hertfordshire has to offer. I’d also like to think that on occasions I have spotted some truly talented players early on. Patrick Cathcart is one of those who at such a young age has demonstrated his desire, commitment and most importantly, the talent to achieve a high level in the sport."

Patrick joins OHs Ed Corrie and David Rice in the squad. We will watch his progress with great interest.
