Mr Sadler wins men's section of Annie's Aquathlon

Congratulations to Ben Sadler, men's winner of the inaugural Annie's Adult Aquathlon which was organised by Haileybury sports coach Annie Thomas to raise funds for Isabel Hospice.

The 47 competitors swam 300m and ran 3km on a glorious spring day at the weekend with History teacher Mr Sadler putting in an excellent run time after his swim. Winner of the very competitive female section was Rebecca Carter from Exeter.

A strong contingent of Haileybury staff (pictured below) participated alongside parents and entrants from the local community.

The event has raised just over £1000 to add to the £15,000 that Annie has already raised for the Hospice in the last two years.
