Haileybury Middles Pupils win GSK Science Competition Prize
A team of budding scientists from the Middles achieved an excellent second place in the annual GlaxoSmithKline Science Competition which took place at the GSK research and development site in Ware. The team of Grace (Hailey), Kenisha (Albans), James C (Batten), Alfie (Lawrence), Sebastian (Edmonstone) and James T (Kipling) took part in a forensic investigation, followed by a quiz and then had to design and test a rocket. On the rocket challenge not only did they achieve the longest flight but they also had the most stylish design. Beyond the pride in their achievement they won a £250 voucher for lab equipment for the Science Department.
