African drumming at Haileybury Boarding Activity Weekend
In a weekend of adventure and fun, children tried out many different activities and gained a taste of boarding life at Haileybury.
The varied programme at our Boarding Activity Weekend, which ran from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July, included archery, drama, music, dance and science.
There was also lacrosse, a treasure hunt, the Haileybury replica First World War Trench Trail and much much more.
The weekend was a fun introduction to boarding at Haileybury. Children aged 9 to 12 stayed in our boarding houses under the supervision of our experienced staff.
Director of External Relations, Donna Cresswell commented: "Our Activity Weekends are a great way to get a feel for what Haileybury has to offer. Nothing beats meeting the teachers, sampling our delicious food, sleeping in our dormitories and enjoying an action-packed weekend of fun activities.
"The children often make lasting friends at these weekends and it is an important part of the process in choosing their preferred senior independent school."
