Haileybury's summer of music begins
A summer of music at Haileybury kicks off with two beautiful concerts over the coming week.
First up is a Piano and Cello Recital starring our visiting piano teacher and performer Mark Smith on Friday 20 May.
Mark will join forces with cellist Mark Broadhead for an evening of exquisite chamber music in the intimate and atmospheric setting of Bradby Hall.
There will be music by Leighton, Beethoven and Rachmaninov. The concert will start at 7.30 pm in Bradby Hall. Entry is free.
Then on Tuesday 24 May the first of our summer series of organ recitals, 20 Fingers/20 Toes: Organ Duet Recital I will take place.
We are looking forward to welcoming back James Gough for an evening of solo and duet organ music alongside our Director of Music, Ryan Hepburn.
College Organist between 2013 and 2015, James' larger than life personality is sure to light up Chapel.
There will be music by Bach, Howells, Buxtehude and Mendelssohn, played on our majestic Klais organ.
The recital is open to all, no tickets are required. It will start at 8.00 pm in Chapel.
